ROWING SA

From 2011 to 2016, Rienzo coached Rowing South Africa’s para-rowing to the Beijing, London and Rio Paralympic games. Collaborating with coaches Adrian Higgins and Marco Galeone, Rienzo supported four crews through team workshops and individual coaching to enhance team cohesion and performance.

Key achievements included a 5th place in Rio, 2nd place finishes in Beijing and London B-finals, and a Bronze medal at the Korea World Championships.

NEDBANK

For four years, Rienzo partnered with Nedbank Wealth Management to enhance leadership, performance, and collaboration during a period of restructuring and leadership challenges. Through 360-degree feedback, workshops, and coaching, he supported them to redefine DIVCO values, foster strategic collaboration, and establish accountability. The division underwent further restructuring to optimize resources, resulting in a more focused, competitive Wealth Management unit.

GENPACT

From 2012 to 2014, Performance Mind coached 26 future VP’s for Genpact as part of the LEAP leadership program, delivered in partnership with Duke University.

All participants successfully completed the program and advanced within the company. From 2021 to 2023, Rienzo worked with the CMO and 8 senior leaders to integrate diversity and collaborative leadership, using uBuntu principles and Insights Discovery. This led to a diversity alignment rollout for 110 members of the Genpact Marketing team.

CROSSFIT PRETORIA

Performance Mind worked with the founder of CrossFit Pretoria to build a sustainable business with a strong community and to advance into a senior role within CrossFit HQ. This involved intensive personal and technical development through bespoke 1-on-1 coaching. As a result, CrossFit Pretoria became one of South Africa’s most successful boxes, and the founder is now the most senior CrossFit HQ representative in Africa.

BARLOWORLD EQUIPMENT

From 2013 to 2017, Performance Mind and Rienzo designed, and in collaboration with Tsheto Leadership, delivered a year-long Conscious Leadership program for 112 leaders, starting with executives. The “Coaching for Leadership” program provided practical tools for applying coaching and personal transformation principles in leadership, featuring monthly group workshops and personalized 1-on-1 coaching.
